“Sustainability is Everybody’s Business” — Poster by Kordts et al. (2026)
Today, Robert Kordts is presenting our poster “Sustainability is Everybody’s Business” at the CHARM-EU Annual Conference in Turku.
On the poster, we describe a project that has happened in parallel to Terese’s and my MOOC “Teaching Sustainability“, and that was the development of a self-study course for teachers at the University of Bergen. We use the same “teaching about, with, in, through, for sustainability” framework to structure the course, and the same experiential learning cycle within each module, where we introduce the module, and then go through experience, reflection, theory, and planning. It also has a strong emphasis on connecting teachers with their contexts and building networks.
In contrast to Terese’s and my MOOC, Robert’s course has been up and running for this semester already (I just heard yesterday that the first cohort has submitted their mid-term reflections, exciting!), so we will soon know if it is working as intended!
