Wave watching

Together with kitchen oceanography (discovering oceanography in little demonstrations you can easily do with household items!), wave watching is my other big passion. I think of wave watching as an activity which I really enjoy and invite others to enjoy with me (Looking for a wave watching guide? Just get in touch!).
This is what I mean when I speak of wave watching:
- The act of purposefully approaching water of any kind in order to observe the shape of its surface and to ponder what might have caused it to look exactly like this and not different, see for example here.
- #friendlywave. My invitation to send me a picture of a wave field you observed but can’t quite read. I will do my best to try and interpret it for you!
