Halloween dip resulting in a decorated leg…

This weekend I got to judge and see many super cool dives at @juniordykarna_freediving’s höstapneiaden in Gothenburg. This competition means a lot to me: two years ago I was new in Sweden and even newer to freediving and just came to watch and support @alexfreediver and my other @active.divers buddies. Last year I came back to do a judge course, and by that time had already connected with amazing people like @paulaunderpressure over her research on menstruation in freediving, or @jeanettemolnar with her incredible 7:07 breathhold that I was lucky enough to watch up close. This year I came back as a judge and knew so many people already — from hanging out with them at the world championship in Kaunas, from judging with them, or judging their dives in other competitions in the pool and in depth, from supporting the @swe_freediving account, from having shared so so many awesome adventures together — and met even more new friends. Thanks @katarina.martensson for taking me to my first training and not telling me what I was getting myself into until it was too late and I was hooked! I feel so lucky to have found this community that has welcomed me with open arms, and freediving itself that is like flying, only better. And I hope to see all of you at our #aidavikingapnea competition 19/1 and then again at SM 28/2-2/3!
